Rita Amin, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT
Rita is a licensed physical therapist in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University, Boston, MA and a Masters and Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. She is also a certified orthopedic specialist, recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Amin is also a certified McKenzie spine practitioner and certified Pilates instructor. Rita specializes in spine conditions especially disc derangements. She has over 13 years of clinical experience in Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, Sports Medicine and Neurology from University Medical Center at Princeton, Princeton, NJ, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, West Orange, NJ and New York University Medical Center, New York, NY. She is the author of several articles published in various medical journals and used to be an Adjunct Professor for Boston University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Sargent College, Boston, MA and for Columbia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, New York, NY. Hemang is the Director of Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy and is a true Renaissance man! He is a graduate in Computer Science from Thomas Edison University and has worked with several fortune 100 companies in the past. He has been the co-owner of Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy since its creation in Fall of 2006 and currently handles Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics, Strategy, Planning and Information Management. Paula B., PT
Paula is a licensed PT in New York and New Jersey, graduating from New York University with a BSPT in 1993. Paula has over twenty years of experience in all facets of physical therapy but her specialties are in sports medicine and orthopedics, especially knee and shoulder rehab. Paula has numerous continuing education certifications in these areas.
Paula is happily married with two children, a 15 year old daughter and 10 year old son. In her spare time, her hobbies include working out, caring for her dog and growing orchids and African violets. Paula is currently the President of the Garden State African Violet Club, Treasurer of the Tristate African Violet Council and has been recently nominated as the African Violet Society of America's Director.
Marquita "Keda", is the front desk receptionist here at Advance. She has been in the medical field for over 7 years, primarily working with adults with development disabilites. Keda also graduated a Medical Assistant program. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her significant other! She loves to read, shop, go to amusement parks and try new things. While she has no children yet, she does have two dogs-a pit bull and lhasa poo!
Tatiana is our newest addition here at Advance. She is a graduate of the medical assistant program from Star Academy in Philadelphia, PA. She is currently gaining her experience here at Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy. She is also a mother to two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids and family. She plans on furthering her education in the medical field and becoming a nurse.
Isabel, "Bell," is a certified medical assistant here at Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy. She has 4 years of experience in the medical fields and hopes to blossom further since she enjoys helping people with their health needs. In her spare time, she enjoys fellowship at church, babysitting, gaming on X-Box Live and spending long days at home lounging around. Isabel is married to her teenage first love and although she has one child and a pet lizard! LANGUAGES SPOKEN: Spanish.
