We pride ourselves on our friendly, knowledgable and professional staff. Our therapists are all state licensed and regularly attend seminars, conventions and continuing education courses to stay informed on the most advanced physical therapy methods.

This is who we are:

Rita Amin, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT

 

Rita is a licensed physical therapist in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.  She holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University, Boston, MA and a Masters and Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, Boston, MA.  She is also a certified orthopedic specialist, recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.  Dr. Amin is also a certified McKenzie spine practitioner and certified Pilates instructor.  Rita specializes in spine conditions especially disc derangements.  She has over 14 years of clinical experience in Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, Sports Medicine and Neurology from University Medical Center at Princeton, Princeton, NJ, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, West Orange, NJ and New York University Medical Center, New York, NY.  She is the author of several articles published in various medical journals and used to be an Adjunct Professor for Boston University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Sargent College, Boston, MA and for Columbia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program,  New York, NY.  LANGUAGES SPOKEN: Spanish, Hindi

Paula B., PT

 

Paula is a licensed PT in New York and New Jersey, graduating from New York University with a BSPT in 1993 and works as a home care PT.  Paula has over twenty years of experience in all facets of physical therapy but her specialties are in sports medicine and orthopedics, especially knee and shoulder rehab.  Paula has numerous continuing education certifications in these areas.  Paula is happily married with two children, a 19 year old daughter and 14 year old son.  In her spare time, her hobbies include working out, caring for her dog and growing orchids and African violets.  Paula is currently the President of the Garden State African Violet Club, Treasurer of the Tristate African Violet Council and has been recently nominated as the African Violet Society of America's Director.   

Hemang A.

 

Hemang is the Director of Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy and is a true Renaissance man!  He is a graduate in Computer Science from Thomas Edison University and has worked with several fortune 100 companies in the past.  He has been the co-owner of Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy since its creation in Fall of 2006 and currently handles Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics, Strategy, Planning and Information Management.  Hemang lives locally and is happily married with two small children! Marquita W.

 

Marquita "Keda", is the biller here at Advance and has been part of the ASAP team for three years.  She has been in the medical field for over 9 years, primarily working with adults with development disabilites.  Keda also graduated a Medical Assistant program.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her significant other!  She loves to read, shop, go to amusement parks and try new things.  While she has no children yet, she does have two dogs-a pit bull and lhasa poo!

Brianna P.

 

Brianna, "Bri," is a medical assistant student-in-training and has been volunteering her time at Advance in the hopes of learning as much as she possibly can! She fit into the family right from day 1. We hope she sticks around awhile! Brianna just celebrated her son's 6th birthdday! 

Cynthia F.

 

Cynthia "Cyn," is our physical therapy aide. She is happily married with three small children who are her entire world.  She loves taking family trips and having sing alongs in the car. She is a huge fan of horror movies but also enjoys watching classic Disney movies as well.  Cyn is a true kid at heart-laughing and living life to the fullest.  She always has a smile on her face even on her worst days.  One of her goals is to go back to school to be a nurse someday.  LANGUAGES SPOKEN: Spanish.

Grecia S.

 

Grecia, "Grace," is our front desk receptionist at Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy.  She attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and has 5 years of experience in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Industry.  After working in various restaurants, Grace has chose to redirect her path in a new direction here at Advance.  She is concurrently studying for her Bachelors in Business Administration with speialization in Marketing to broaden her opportunities and tap into her creative side!  In her sparetime, she likes to cook, go on adventures with her boyfriend and manage her own small online business selling her own brand of chef knives!    LANGUAGES SPOKEN: Spanish.
